According to the Scottish Football Association, the Dunfermline-born player returned to her home region of Fife to deliver coaching sessions for local primary school children. Weir aimed to inspire the next generation through the Caroline Weir Girls' Grassroots Football Programme, which she launched in partnership with the Scottish FA and Shell.
Scotland failed to qualify for the 2023 tournament, and Weir stated that reaching the upcoming finals remains a primary objective. Per Real Madrid, the midfielder has established herself as a key figure in Spain after moving from Manchester City in 2022. During her time in Scotland, she also discussed personal preferences from her upbringing, including a fondness for empire biscuits. Weir remains focused on her recovery and form at club level to ensure she is available for international selection during the qualification cycle for the 2027 competition.
