Sutton suggested that Celtic appear to be a declining force under manager Brendan Rodgers. The pundit noted that the team lacks the same edge and clinical nature displayed in previous campaigns. According to The Guardian, the race for the Scottish top-flight title remains close with several matches still to play in the 2025-26 season.
While Celtic recently defeated St Mirren 3-0 to maintain pressure at the top, Sutton remains unconvinced by the squad's overall stability. Rangers hold the advantage in the table and also possess a game in hand over their rivals. The two sides are scheduled to meet again before the season concludes in May.
