Motherwell and Hearts players comprise nine of the 11 positions in the PFA Scotland Premiership Team of the Year. Five players from the Fir Park club earned selection, whilst four representatives from current league leaders Hearts were named in the lineup. According to PFA Scotland, the team recognises the individual performances of players across the top flight during the 2025-26 campaign.
Liam Kelly, Stephen O'Donnell, and Lennon Miller are among the Motherwell contingent included in the squad. Hearts representatives include Lawrence Shankland and Frankie Kent, per Sky Sports. The remaining two spots in the team were filled by one player each from Celtic and Rangers.
The nominations come as the Scottish Premiership season enters its final stages. Hearts currently occupy the top position in the league table, holding a narrow advantage over their rivals. Motherwell sit in the top half of the standings following a consistent run of form. The awards ceremony will take place later this month to celebrate the achievements of the selected players.
