Everton loanee Jack Grealish says his recovery from a season-ending foot operation is progressing well as he aims for a summer return.

Jack Grealish says his recovery from surgery on a season-ending foot injury is going extremely well. The 30-year-old midfielder, currently on loan at Everton from Manchester City, sustained a stress fracture during a 1-0 win against Aston Villa on 18 January. Per Goal, Grealish has moved from using a protective boot and knee scooter to walking without assistance as he follows a rehabilitation programme.

Grealish made 22 appearances for the Toffees before the setback, recording two goals and six assists. Manager David Moyes previously confirmed the player would miss the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign. According to The Canary, the injury also rules the England international out of the upcoming 2026 World Cup in North America.

Everton currently sit 11th in the Premier League table with 47 points from 34 matches, according to NBC Sports. Grealish has indicated he is focused on returning in peak condition for the start of the 2026-27 season. He remains under contract at Manchester City, where he moved for £100m in 2021.
