Antoine Griezmann will join MLS side Orlando City in July after agreeing a free transfer from Atletico Madrid following 10 seasons.

Antoine Griezmann is set to end his time at Atletico Madrid this summer after signing for Orlando City. The 35-year-old forward agreed a deal with the Major League Soccer club through the 2027-28 season, per The Guardian. Although Griezmann's contract at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano was due to run until 2027, Atletico have reportedly permitted a free transfer as a debt of gratitude.

The Frenchman has scored 13 goals across all competitions this season according to the same report. He recently helped Diego Simeone's side reach the Champions League semi-finals after a 3-2 aggregate victory over Barcelona. Griezmann is the record goalscorer for the club, having netted 211 goals across two spells in the Spanish capital.

Atletico face Arsenal at home in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals today. Griezmann previously stated his intention to finish the campaign with the Spanish side to challenge for European and domestic silverware, per beIN SPORTS. The move to the United States will officially take place when the MLS transfer window opens in July.
