The Football Association shared technical expertise and logistical advice with US Soccer to assist in the creation of its first dedicated national training home. US Soccer recently broke ground on the Arthur M. Blank US Soccer National Training Centre in Fayette County, Georgia. The facility covers 200 acres and includes more than a dozen football pitches, according to US Soccer.
Representatives from the American governing body visited St George's Park, the FA national football centre in Staffordshire, to study its design and operations. The FA provided insights on talent identification and high-performance environments, per The Guardian. Officials from both organisations noted the collaborative effort strengthened the relationship between the two nations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Work on the Georgia site began in April 2024 following a $50m donation from Arthur M. Blank. The centre will house all 27 US national teams and serve as the headquarters for the federation, which previously operated from Chicago, Illinois.
