The battle for Europa League and Conference League places intensifies as the Premier League season enters its final weeks.

Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool have almost secured Champions League qualification for next season. Aston Villa currently occupy fourth place with 63 points from 33 matches, according to the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur remain in contention for the final Champions League spot, sitting three points behind Villa with one game in hand.

Newcastle United and Manchester United are competing for Europa League positions. Newcastle moved into sixth place following a 4-0 victory against Tottenham, per Sky Sports. Manchester United sit in seventh place after a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. West Ham United and Chelsea also remain mathematically involved in the pursuit of European football.

Eighth place may offer a route into the Europa Conference League depending on the outcome of the FA Cup, per the Guardian. The current gap between sixth and tenth place is six points. Recent results for Brighton and Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reduced their chances of finishing in the top seven. Final league positions will determine the distribution of UEFA coefficients for the following season.
