Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has transitioned his side from individual stars to a versatile unit before facing Bayern Munich.

Paris Saint-Germain host Bayern Munich tonight in a Champions League semi-final first leg at the Parc des Princes. Manager Luis Enrique has moved the team away from a reliance on individual superstars towards a system of positional fluidity. According to The Guardian, this approach included deploying left-back Nuno Mendes as a winger and centre-back Lucas Beraldo in midfield during a 4-0 victory against Nice.

PSG current lead Ligue 1 by six points following recent 3-0 wins over Angers and Nantes, per The Football Faithful. The squad has largely recovered from earlier injury concerns. Midfielder Vitinha returned to fitness after a heel injury, while Achraf Hakimi and Desire Doue are also available for selection.

Enrique described his selection process as a "lottery" due to the availability of a full-strength squad, according to the Associated Press. The French club aims to reach the final after winning a domestic treble and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup earlier this season. Bayern Munich arrive in Paris without suspended head coach Vincent Kompany.
