Celtic progressed to their first Women's Scottish Cup final in three years following an extra-time victory over Glasgow City on Saturday.

Celtic reached the Women's Scottish Cup final after defeating Glasgow City 2-0 at Hampden Park. The semi-final tie remained goalless after 90 minutes before Celtic scored twice during the extra period. This result marks the first time Celtic have beaten their Glasgow rivals since August 2024, according to Sky Sports.

Murphy Agnew opened the scoring for Celtic in the 107th minute. The forward capitalised on a rebound after Glasgow City goalkeeper Lee Gibson saved an initial effort. Natasha Flint then secured the victory with a second goal in the final minutes of extra time, per the Scottish FA.

Celtic will face either Rangers or Spartans in the final on May 26. The second semi-final takes place tomorrow at the national stadium. Glasgow City had won the previous three meetings between the sides this season, but Celtic now move closer to a potential domestic double. The victory ensures Celtic return to the final for the first time since their 2022 triumph.
