Bromley secured their first ever promotion to League One on Saturday following Barnet's 2-0 victory against Notts County.

Bromley have reached the third tier of English football for the first time in their 134-year history. The club's promotion was confirmed without playing on Saturday afternoon. Results elsewhere in League Two ensured the Kent side could no longer be caught in the automatic promotion places, according to Sky Sports.

Notts County's 2-0 defeat at Barnet mathematically guaranteed a top-three finish for Andy Woodman's team. Goals from Nicke Kabamba and Idris Kanu for the hosts at The Hive secured the result required for the Ravens. Bromley currently sit second in the table with 82 points from 44 matches, per the EFL.

The achievement follows the club's promotion from the National League via the play-offs in 2024. Bromley have spent only two seasons in the Football League before this historic ascent. The side will compete in League One for the 2026-27 campaign. The club previously won the FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium in 2022, according to The Guardian.
