A US ticketing platform part-owned by Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly has faced criticism for selling FA Cup semi-final seats at high prices.

A US-based ticketing company linked to Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly has offered seats for the club's FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City for £1,705. The website, Vivid Seats, lists the tickets at prices significantly higher than the standard rates set by the Football Association. Boehly's investment firm, Eldridge Industries, holds a stake in the platform, according to The Guardian.

Chelsea supporters groups expressed frustration over the inflated costs, which exceed the official top price of £120. Per Sky Sports, the club has clarified it does not have a direct commercial relationship with the resale site. The Football Association prohibits the unauthorised resale of football tickets in England under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.

The Premier League club faces Manchester City at Wembley Stadium this weekend. Fans have called for tighter regulations on secondary markets to prevent price gouging for major fixtures. Neither Eldridge Industries nor Vivid Seats has issued a formal statement regarding the specific listings for this match.
