Tottenham Hotspur Women captain Bethany England will leave the club this summer following the conclusion of her current contract.

Tottenham Hotspur Women captain Bethany England is set to leave the club at the end of the season. The striker joined the north London side from Chelsea in January 2023 for a domestic record fee reported at £250,000. During her tenure, England scored 20 goals in 35 appearances and helped the team reach its first Women's FA Cup final in 2024.

Managing director Andy Rogers stated that England can leave feeling proud of her achievements at the club, per Sky Sports. The 31-year-old forward has been a central figure in the squad, taking over the captaincy shortly after her arrival. Her departure coincides with the expiry of her contract in June 2026, according to The Guardian.

England previously won four Women's Super League titles during her time at Chelsea. Tottenham have not yet confirmed a destination for the forward. The club currently sits sixth in the Women's Super League table following a 1-1 draw with Everton, per the official Tottenham Hotspur website.
