Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have stated manager Phil Parkinson has a "job for life" at the club.

Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, co-owners of Wrexham AFC, have publicly backed manager Phil Parkinson. The duo confirmed Parkinson's position is secure, describing him as "integral" to the club's recent success and remarkable rise through the football leagues.

Parkinson joined Wrexham in July 2021, shortly after the celebrity takeover. Under his leadership, the Welsh club has achieved three successive promotions, climbing from the National League to the Championship. This rapid ascent has been a cornerstone of the club's revitalisation under its current ownership.

The statement of unwavering support from Reynolds and McElhenney coincides with the five-year anniversary of their ownership. Wrexham currently occupies a play-off position in the Championship, aiming for further promotion. McElhenney emphasised that Parkinson is "our coach, our manager, our guy".
