Luton Town manager Jack Wilshere takes his side to Wembley Stadium to face Stockport County in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy final on 12 April. Wilshere seeks his first major trophy in senior management since his appointment at Kenilworth Road. Stockport manager Dave Challinor returns to the national stadium for his eighth visit as either a player or manager, according to the EFL.
Stockport reached the final after a 1-0 semi-final victory against Blackpool. Luton secured their place at Wembley following a 2-1 win over Wycombe Wanderers in the previous round, per Sky Sports. The Hatters currently sit in the Championship play-off positions while County lead the League One table.
Challinor previously led Stockport to the League Two title and has experience in four previous Wembley finals with various clubs. Wilshere told the Luton Town website that the occasion represents a significant milestone for his squad. Both teams report no fresh injury concerns ahead of the fixture.
