West Ham United's offer to take Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis on loan has been turned down by the Championship club.

West Ham United's loan offer for Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis has been rejected. The Championship club considers the twenty-four-year-old centre-back a key player and is reluctant to sell him during the current transfer window.

Harwood-Bellis initially joined Southampton on loan from Manchester City in 2023, with the move becoming permanent for £20 million in 2024 after the Saints secured promotion to the Premier League. He is currently under contract at St Mary's until at least June 2028.

West Ham is actively seeking to bolster their defensive options before the transfer deadline. While Harwood-Bellis is reportedly open to a return to the Premier League, Southampton remains firm on their valuation, aiming to keep core players for their push for promotion back to the top flight.
