West Bromwich Albion have parted company with head coach Eric Ramsay after only nine matches in charge of the Championship club. The former Manchester United coach joined Albion from Major League Soccer side Minnesota United in late 2025, but his tenure lasted just 10 weeks. The West Midlands club announced the decision following a run of poor form that left the team struggling in the league table, according to Sky Sports.
Ramsay managed only two victories during his short spell at the club. Development coach Richard Beale is expected to take temporary charge of first-team affairs while the board searches for a permanent successor, per reports from the Express & Star. The dismissal comes as the club seeks to stabilise its position in the second tier of English football. West Bromwich Albion confirmed that the search for a new head coach begins immediately. The club currently sits in the bottom half of the Championship, according to the official English Football League standings.
