American businessman David Storch has expressed his excitement regarding the opportunity to acquire Sheffield Wednesday. He recently outlined his vision for the club during an exclusive interview with BBC Sheffield.

Storch, who previously served as chief executive of aviation services company AAR Corp for 39 years, leads a consortium that submitted a bid for the Owls. The Storch group reportedly made their offer last week, entering a competitive field of potential buyers.

Other interested parties include retail tycoon Mike Ashley and James Bord. Sheffield Wednesday currently remains in administration, having faced substantial points deductions this season.

The club faces likely relegation to League One. Administrators are now preparing to make a critical decision on the preferred bidder. Storch is reportedly partnering with Tom Costin of Owl Ventures in his bid.
