Wales international Alice Griffiths has joined Exeter City Women after leaving Scottish Women's Premier League side Rangers.

Exeter City Women have completed the signing of Wales international Alice Griffiths on a free transfer. The 24-year-old midfielder joins the club after her contract with Scottish side Rangers expired earlier this season, per Sky Sports. She becomes the latest addition to the Grecians squad as they continue their campaign in the FA Women's National League South.

Griffiths previously played for Charlton Athletic and Bristol City before her move to Scotland in 2023. She has earned seven senior caps for the Wales national team, according to the Football Association of Wales. The midfielder made 19 appearances for Rangers during her time in Glasgow, helping the side win the Scottish Women's Cup.

Exeter manager Abbie Britton said the signing provides significant experience to the team's midfield unit. Griffiths is expected to be available for selection immediately. The club currently occupies a mid-table position in the third tier of English women's football, according to official league standings updated on 1 April.
