Arsenal teenager Max Dowman has signed scholarship terms with the club. The agreement paves the way for the 15-year-old to sign a professional contract when he turns 17 on December 31, 2026. His scholarship will officially commence next season.
Dowman made his Premier League debut for Arsenal in August 2025, coming on as a substitute against Leeds United. He became the second youngest player in the league's history and won a penalty during the match. He has since made three first-team appearances for the Gunners this season, including a Carabao Cup victory.
The midfielder has been training with the senior squad since he was 14 years old. Dowman also holds the record as the youngest goal-scorer in UEFA Youth League history, having scored at 14. Manager Mikel Arteta has previously commended Dowman's maturity and hunger.
