Robinson urges togetherness in Aberdeen fight

Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson has called for unity as the club enters a critical stage of its Scottish Premiership survival battle.

Robinson spoke at a press conference on 10 April 2026, ahead of a fixture against Hibernian at Pittodrie. He stated that while the season would be scrutinised later, current focus must remain on the remaining matches. Aberdeen currently sit ninth in the table with 30 points after 32 games, according to Sky Sports. They remain only three points ahead of 11th-placed Kilmarnock in the relegation play-off position.

The Dons have secured one victory in their last 16 outings, per Aberdeen Live. Robinson, who joined from St Mirren in March, is without injured defenders Kristers Tobers and Tom McIntyre. Midfielder Dennis Geiger remains doubtful for the Saturday match, but the club recently signed Elvis Bwomono on a short-term deal to bolster defensive options. Robinson noted that players feel the pressure of the situation and described the squad as fragile following a 2-0 loss to St Mirren on 4 April.
