Rangers' European exit clears domestic path

Football

Rangers' UEFA Europa League campaign concluded, shifting their focus entirely to a demanding domestic schedule in February.

Rangers' European involvement for the 2025/26 season ended with their UEFA Europa League fixture against FC Porto on January 29, 2026. This elimination means the club can now concentrate solely on their Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup commitments. February presents a busy period for the Glasgow side, featuring five Scottish Premiership matches and a Scottish Cup tie. Their league fixtures include an away trip to Hibernian on February 1, followed by a home game against Kilmarnock on February 4. Rangers will also face Motherwell away on February 11, host Heart of Midlothian on February 15, and travel to Livingston on February 22. The month culminates with a crucial Old Firm derby against Celtic at Ibrox on March 1. In the Scottish Cup, Rangers will play Championship side Queen's Park at home in the fifth round on February 8.
