Rangers have voiced 'concern and anger' regarding issues faced by supporters and staff at Porto's Estádio do Dragão.

Rangers Football Club has confirmed it received multiple reports of problems during its Europa League match against FC Porto on Thursday, January 29, 2026. The club stated it shares the "concern, anger and frustration" of travelling supporters and staff.

Issues reported included treatment upon entry to the Estádio do Dragão, being held inside the stadium after the game, a lack of communication, and a strong police presence. Rangers lost the Europa League fixture 3-1 to Porto. Djeidi Gassama gave Rangers an early lead, but Porto responded with goals from Rodrigo Mora, Francisco Moura, and an Emmanuel Fernandez own goal to secure their victory.

The Scottish club has pledged to gather further complaints and feedback. It plans to pursue the matter with the relevant parties. Rangers were already eliminated from the competition before the match.
