Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has confirmed he will submit a file of video evidence to the head of referees. Parkinson said he wants to address frustrations regarding recent officiating decisions affecting his squad. The move follows several incidents that the manager believes were handled incorrectly by match officials during League One fixtures, according to The Guardian.
The Welsh club returned to the top six of the League One table after a 2-1 victory over Mansfield Town. Despite the win, Parkinson remained concerned about the consistency of refereeing. He intends for the dossier to highlight specific moments where he feels his team were disadvantaged.
Parkinson noted that his aim is to gain clarity on rules rather than simply complaining about results, per Sky Sports. Wrexham currently sit in the play-off positions as they pursue a third successive promotion. The club staff are currently organising the footage before sending the formal correspondence to the Professional Game Match Officials Limited later this week.
