Midfielder Lewis O'Brien prepares to face his former club Swansea City as Wrexham continue their current league campaign.

Midfielder Lewis O'Brien says he has felt at home since joining Wrexham on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest. The 27-year-old midfielder is set to face his former club, Swansea City, in a league fixture on Friday evening. O'Brien previously spent the 2023-24 season on loan at the Welsh side from Forest, per Nottingham Forest.

Wrexham currently sit in second place in the League One table, trailing leaders Birmingham City. According to Sky Sports, the club has secured 72 points from 36 matches played so far this season. The team enters the fixture following a 2-1 victory against Stockport County in their previous outing.

Manager Phil Parkinson has utilised O'Brien in a central midfield role since his arrival in the summer. The player noted that the welcoming environment at the Racecourse Ground helped his transition to the club. Wrexham aim to maintain their position in the automatic promotion places as the season reaches its final two months, according to the EFL.
