Mohamed Salah will depart Liverpool as an all-time great and a defining figure of the Premier League era, according to BBC Sport.

Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool as one of the club's most decorated players. The forward has scored 211 goals in 352 appearances for the Merseyside club since joining from Roma in 2017. He helped the team win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup during his tenure at Anfield, per the Premier League.

His 158 Premier League goals for Liverpool place him tenth on the competition's all-time scoring chart.

Liverpool currently sit top of the Premier League table as the 2025-26 season approaches its conclusion. The Egypt international has registered 18 goals and nine assists in the current league campaign, per ESPN. His departure marks the end of an era for the club under the management of Arne Slot.
