Wales manager Rhian Wilkinson has recalled teenager Mayzee Davies to the national squad for two upcoming World Cup qualifying matches.

Rhian Wilkinson has named Mayzee Davies in the Wales squad for the double-header against Albania this month. The Manchester United defender returns to the senior setup for the World Cup qualifiers, according to the Football Association of Wales. Davies previously featured in the squad for the friendly against Italy in 2024.

Goalkeeper Olivia Clark will miss the fixtures due to injury, per Sky Sports. Wilkinson has selected Safia Middleton-Patel, Olivia Francis-Jones, and Mared Griffiths to complete the goalkeeping options. The first fixture takes place in Wrexham on 5 April, before the return match in Tirana four days later.

Wales currently sits at the top of the qualifying group following victories in the opening rounds. Midfielder Angharad James continues as captain for the side. Sophie Ingle remains unavailable as she continues her recovery from a long-term knee injury sustained during the previous domestic season. Wilkinson confirmed the final 26-player roster during a press conference held at the national football centre.
