Manchester United secured a 3-2 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Lisandro Martinez's own goal gave Arsenal the lead after 29 minutes. Bryan Mbeumo equalised for United in the 37th minute, followed by Patrick Dorgu putting them ahead early in the second half. Mikel Merino levelled for Arsenal in the 84th minute, but Matheus Cunha scored United's winning goal in the 87th minute, curling a long-range shot past David Raya.

This result marks Michael Carrick's second consecutive win as interim manager, following a victory against Manchester City last weekend. The win moved Manchester United into fourth position in the Premier League table, above Chelsea and Liverpool. Arsenal's lead at the top of the league was reduced to four points, and their unbeaten home record for the season ended. This defeat was Arsenal's first home loss of the season.
