Liverpool have been named the top-earning English football club in the 29th edition of the Deloitte Football Money League. The club generated €836 million (£728m) in revenue during the 2024/25 season, placing them fifth globally. This marks the first time Liverpool have led the English clubs in the annual financial report.
The significant increase in revenue was primarily driven by a 34 percent rise in broadcast income, following Liverpool's return to the UEFA Champions League. Commercial revenue also saw a 7 percent increase, boosted by additional non-matchday events held at Anfield.
Manchester City, previously the highest-earning English club, dropped four places to sixth overall with €829 million (£696m). Manchester United also fell to eighth position, reporting €793 million (£666m) in revenue. Real Madrid topped the overall Money League for the second consecutive year, generating close to €1.2 billion.
