Lauren James signed a new contract with Chelsea to remain at the club until 2030, according to Sky Sports. The 24-year-old forward joined the side from Manchester United in 2021 and has since won three Women's Super League titles. She also helped the team secure three FA Cups during her time in West London.

James has scored 38 goals in 94 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions, per The Guardian. This new deal replaces her previous contract, which was set to expire in 2027.

James becomes one of the longest-committed players in the squad following the announcement on Friday. Chelsea currently sits at the top of the Women's Super League table as it seeks a sixth consecutive domestic title.
