Jurgen Klopp believes Mohamed Salah can continue his professional career for seven more years after his summer departure from Liverpool.

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp suggests Mohamed Salah possesses the physical attributes to remain in professional football until he is 40. The Egypt international is scheduled to leave the Merseyside club at the end of the current season when his contract expires, according to Sky Sports.

Klopp compared the forward to players such as Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo regarding his professional approach and physical condition. The 33-year-old forward has maintained a consistent scoring record during his tenure at Anfield, per figures from the Premier League.

Salah joined the club in 2017 and has since won the Premier League, Champions League, and several domestic cups. Despite his upcoming departure, Klopp insists the player's discipline allows for several more seasons at the highest level. Recent reports from The Guardian indicate that various clubs in the Saudi Pro League maintain an interest in signing the attacker as a free agent. Salah has not yet confirmed his next destination following the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign.
