The Football Association (FA) has charged Tottenham Hotspur interim manager Igor Tudor with misconduct. The charge relates to comments made by the coach after Tottenham suffered a defeat away at Fulham. Tudor suggested that referee Thomas Bramall favoured the home side during the Premier League fixture, according to The Athletic.
An FA statement confirmed that Tudor's remarks constituted improper conduct as they implied bias and attacked the integrity of the match official. The interim manager has until 24 March to provide a formal response to the governing body, per Sky Sports.
Tudor took charge of the north London club on a temporary basis following the recent departure of the previous permanent head coach. Tottenham currently sit in the top half of the table as they compete for European qualification. The club has not yet released an official comment regarding the disciplinary proceedings against their member of staff. If found guilty, Tudor could face a fine or a touchline ban for upcoming matches.
