Hearts drew 2-2 with Celtic at Tynecastle Park on Sunday, 25 January 2026. The Scottish Premiership leaders, despite key absences, secured a late equaliser.
Benjamin Nygren gave Celtic an early lead in the seventh minute. Hearts responded after the interval, with Stuart Findlay levelling the score in the 48th minute.
Yang Hyun-jun put Celtic ahead again in the 62nd minute. However, Celtic were reduced to ten men when Auston Trusty received a red card in the 77th minute.
Claudio Braga then scored for Hearts in the 87th minute to ensure a share of the points.
The result keeps Hearts six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table. Rangers moved into second place, four points behind Hearts, following their 3-0 victory over Dundee.
Hearts were without influential forward Lawrence Shankland and midfielder Cammy Devlin. Celtic are currently managed by interim boss Martin O'Neill.
