Heart of Midlothian recovered from a two-goal deficit to defeat Motherwell 3-2 at Tynecastle Park in the Scottish Premiership.

Heart of Midlothian maintained their pursuit of the Scottish Premiership leaders by securing a 3-2 victory against Motherwell on Saturday. The visitors established a 2-0 lead at Tynecastle Park through goals from Theo Bair and Georgie Gent. Motherwell held this advantage until the final 30 minutes of the match, per Sky Sports.

Lawrence Shankland initiated the comeback by converting a penalty after 61 minutes. Alan Forrest equalised for the hosts 10 minutes later with a deflected strike. Shankland secured the three points by scoring his second goal of the afternoon in the 88th minute, according to The Guardian.

The result leaves Hearts in third place in the league standings as they continue their late-season title challenge. Motherwell remain in the bottom half of the table following the defeat. Steven Naismith's side has now recorded three consecutive league victories. The Edinburgh club travels to face Aberdeen in their next fixture on 19 April, while Motherwell host Hibernian.
