Lawrence Shankland initiated the comeback by converting a penalty after 61 minutes. Alan Forrest equalised for the hosts 10 minutes later with a deflected strike. Shankland secured the three points by scoring his second goal of the afternoon in the 88th minute, according to The Guardian.
The result leaves Hearts in third place in the league standings as they continue their late-season title challenge. Motherwell remain in the bottom half of the table following the defeat.
