Wolverhampton Wanderers have secured a loan deal for England international midfielder Angel Gomes from French club Olympique Marseille. The 25-year-old is set to join Wolves for the remainder of the current Premier League season.
Reports indicate the Premier League club will pay an initial €1m loan fee for Gomes' services. The agreement also includes an option for Wolves to make the move permanent for a fee of approximately €7m at the season's conclusion.
Gomes joined Marseille in summer 2025 after leaving Lille as a free agent. He has since made 20 appearances for the French side, scoring four goals and registering one assist across all competitions this season.
The attacking midfielder came through the Manchester United academy, making 10 senior appearances for them. He has earned four senior England caps, with his last international appearance in October 2024.
