Frank insists Spurs job is safe despite league struggles

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank remains confident in his position after his side's recent Premier League defeat to Newcastle United.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank insists his job is not under threat. His comments follow a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle United on Tuesday, February 10, extending Spurs' winless Premier League run to eight matches in 2026.

The result leaves Tottenham 16th in the Premier League table, five points clear of the relegation zone. Frank stated he is "1,000 percent" sure he will remain in charge for the upcoming North London derby against Arsenal on February 22.

Frank confirmed he spoke with the club's owners, who assured him his position is safe. He attributed the team's poor form to an extensive injury list, with around 10 to 12 players currently unavailable, and captain Cristian Romero serving a suspension. Supporters booed the team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following the Newcastle loss.
