Dundee derby and Robinson debut lead Premiership

The Scottish Premiership returns with the Dundee derby and Stephen Robinson's first match as Aberdeen manager this weekend.

Dundee host Dundee United at Dens Park on Saturday. The hosts occupy seventh place in the Scottish Premiership, while the visitors sit in the ninth position, according to Sky Sports. Both sides seek points to secure a top-six finish before the league split.

Stephen Robinson takes charge of Aberdeen for the first time following his move from St Mirren. The new manager leads his team against St Johnstone at Pittodrie. Aberdeen currently hold third place in the table as they aim to consolidate their European qualification spot, per the Scottish Professional Football League.

Hearts forward Claudio Braga is also under scrutiny ahead of their fixture against Ross County. The 25-year-old attacker joined the Edinburgh club from Portuguese side Arouca in January. Hearts remain in fourth position and hope to close the gap on Aberdeen. Elsewhere, league leaders Celtic face Motherwell while Rangers travel to play Hibernian on Sunday, according to STV News.
