Crystal Palace have secured the services of Aston Villa forward Evann Guessand on a loan deal. The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international joins the Eagles until the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. The agreement includes an option for Palace to make the transfer permanent.
Guessand moved to Aston Villa in summer 2025 from OGC Nice for a reported fee of £30.4 million. However, he has found playing time limited at Villa Park, making 21 appearances across all competitions this season, with only six starts in the Premier League.
He is yet to score a league goal for Aston Villa. Palace chairman Steve Parish stated the club is confident Guessand will thrive at Selhurst Park, bolstering their attacking options. The loan deal reportedly includes an obligation to buy for £28 million if certain conditions are met.
