Manchester City midfielder Rayan Cherki faces Liverpool on Saturday following his recent appearance in the Carabao Cup final.

Manchester City host Liverpool in an FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday, April 4. Rayan Cherki is expected to feature for the home side after he appeared as a substitute in the Carabao Cup final in February. The midfielder joined Manchester City from Lyon during the January transfer window for an initial fee of £35m, according to The Guardian. Cherki signed a four-and-a-half-year contract at the Etihad Stadium which runs until June 2030, per Sky Sports. The France under-21 international has made seven appearances in all competitions since his arrival in England. Pep Guardiola's side currently sit second in the Premier League table, trailing leaders Arsenal by three points with a game in hand. Liverpool travel to Manchester having won four of their last five matches in all competitions. The visitors sit fourth in the league standings as they pursue a domestic cup double. According to the Football Association, the winner of the tie will progress to the semi-finals held at Wembley Stadium later this month.
