Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has joined Scottish champions Celtic on a contract until the summer, with an option for a further year.

Former England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has completed a move to Scottish champions Celtic, signing a deal until the end of the 2025/26 season. The agreement includes an option to extend for an additional year. The 32-year-old midfielder became a free agent in August 2025 following his departure from Turkish club Besiktas. He had been maintaining his fitness by training with former club Arsenal prior to the transfer.

Oxlade-Chamberlain expressed his delight at joining the club, stating that Celtic felt like the "perfect fit" for him and that he could help the team. He brings significant experience to Parkhead, having won the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool. The midfielder also secured three FA Cups during his tenure at Arsenal. The signing was officially announced on Friday, February 7, 2026. He has earned 35 caps for England.
