Celtic Football Club has ended the suspension of the Green Brigade supporters group ahead of the home match against St Mirren.

Celtic has confirmed the return of the Green Brigade following a suspension that lasted five months. The group will return to the standing section at Celtic Park starting with the home fixture against St Mirren on Saturday. The club originally suspended the season tickets of approximately 200 members in October 2023 citing safety concerns and repeated breaches of matchday regulations, according to Sky Sports.

The decision to lift the ban follows discussions between club officials and group representatives. The Green Brigade is expected to resume its position in the North Curve section of the stadium. During the suspension, the club highlighted issues including the use of pyrotechnics and unauthorised access to stadium areas.

Celtic stated that the group agreed to adhere to a new code of conduct designed to ensure safety. The return of the ultras group occurs as the club continues its campaign in the Scottish Premiership. Both parties reached an agreement after lengthy mediation, per The Guardian. The club expects all supporters to follow stadium rules during the upcoming match.
