Rado Vidosic, Brighton's head of women's and girls' coaching, has died at 64 following a battle with cancer.

Rado Vidosic, Brighton & Hove Albion's head of women's and girls' coaching, passed away on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, aged 64. His son, Dario Vidosic, who is Brighton women's head coach, confirmed the news on social media, stating his father had battled cancer.

Vidosic joined Brighton in January 2025, taking up the role of head of women's and girls' coaching, working closely with his son. He brought significant experience from a long career in Australian football. His previous roles included assistant and head coaching positions at clubs such as Brisbane Roar, Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory, and Wellington Phoenix.

He also had a successful tenure at Melbourne City, where he guided the women's team to premiership and championship glory, and later coached the men's team to an A-League premiership in 2023. Brighton's managing director of female football, Zoe Johnson, paid tribute, stating Rado was an "integral part of our staff, team and club".
