England midfielder Laura Blindkilde Brown says she likes proving people wrong after becoming a consistent presence in the Manchester City line-up. The 22-year-old has appeared in all 18 league matches for City during the 2025-26 campaign, according to wslfootball.com. She has started 16 of those fixtures and accumulated 1,268 minutes of playing time.

Blindkilde Brown joined City from Aston Villa in February 2024 for a reported fee of £200,000. Under head coach Andree Jeglertz, she has transitioned from an attacking role into a deeper central midfield position.
