Ademola Lookman, the 28-year-old forward, is set to join Spanish club Atletico Madrid from Italian side Atalanta. The transfer fee is reported as €35 million, with an additional €5 million in performance-related add-ons, bringing the total package to €40 million. Lookman is expected to travel to Spain shortly to undergo a medical examination.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that all key terms have been agreed between the clubs and the player. The Nigerian international has accepted a long-term contract with Diego Simeone's side, reportedly a four-year deal worth €7 million per season.
