Arsenal moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League on Saturday after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw in London.

Arsenal secured a late 2-1 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium to strengthen their position at the top of the table. Gabriel Martinelli scored the decisive goal in the 89th minute after Everton had equalised earlier in the second half. The result moved the North London club to 68 points, according to the Premier League.

Manchester City failed to keep pace as they drew 1-1 against West Ham United at the London Stadium. Erling Haaland started the match but failed to score for the third consecutive league fixture. Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring for the hosts before Kevin De Bruyne levelled for the visitors. City now sit four points behind the leaders with nine matches remaining in the season.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won two of their last five league games, per Sky Sports. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised his team’s persistence following the late win. Everton remain in the relegation zone following the defeat, three points adrift of safety, according to ESPN.
