Scottish League 1 club Kelty Hearts has been acquired by an American consortium led by former Danish club owner Jordan Gardner.

An American consortium, "The Hearts Football LLC", has purchased a majority 80 percent shareholding in Scottish League 1 side Kelty Hearts. The deal was announced on January 27, 2026, following several months of discussions.

The consortium is led by Jordan Gardner, an experienced global football executive. Gardner previously owned Danish second-tier club Helsingor and holds a minority shareholding in Swansea City.

Gardner will assume the role of chairman, replacing George McTrusty, who will remain on the club's board of directors. Former vice-chairman Stuart Mill also retains a board position. The remaining 20 percent of shares will be held by Kelty Hearts FC Members Ltd. The investment aims to strengthen all areas of the club, including the first team, infrastructure, academy, and community work.
