Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson oversaw his first match in charge of the club on Saturday. The fixture against Falkirk ended in a 1-1 draw at Pittodrie. The result leaves Aberdeen in third place in the Scottish Premiership table with 49 points from 29 matches, according to Sky Sports. They remain three points ahead of fourth-placed Heart of Midlothian.
Falkirk took the lead in the first half before the home side equalised to secure a point. Robinson joined the club from St Mirren earlier this month to replace Jimmy Thelin. The new manager stated that the performance provided a foundation for stability at the club, per STV News. Aberdeen have recorded one win in their last five league outings. The team next travels to face Motherwell on 21 March. Falkirk remain in 11th position in the standings following the result. Robinson told club media that he saw enough spirit in the squad to build upon for the remainder of the season.
